This month is the start of the tourist season, which means there has been a lot to do at work. I've gone from working a 40% part time job to a 70% part time job. So this should keep me busy until mid-august. I did manage to get some art done on the side, however!
SOCIAL MEDIA (Instagram and deviantArt)
All of the submissions to my online galleries were made with promarkers - and I made two more as commissions (below). The ones above I made for fun or practice: #1 I wanted to try drawing stylized otter teeth, #2 was to demonstrate how I could make pet portraits (this is my CKC spaniel) and #3 was to try to draw a very muscly lioness and shade with several layers in marker.
COMMISSIONS
I've been working on three commissions this month, but only two were finished, which were two marker pet portraits. One of a chihuahua and one of a couple of seagulls (yes, seagull pets). The Chihuahua actually sadly passed away a few days after I drew this portrait :(
Project assistant work
This entire month has been dedicated to finishing a "Træna-Hawaii" exhibition, which is now ready and set up in Træna Museum. The big festival is coming up in the first week of july, so we needed to get the tourist office up and running, decorate it and put up lots of information posters etc. Below are some photos of the finished exhibition and tourist office, taken at the beginning of july.
